Pyrite and Red Czech Glass Necklace
Product Description
The hearts in this necklace are pyrite colo - also known as "Fool's Gold", as it was mistaken for gold in the early days of the California "Gold Rush". Pyrite is actually an iron ore; hence the name of the piece.
The red rondelles are Czech fire-polished glass, and the stone at the very center of the necklace is ruby quartz (dyed). Since it is a more substantial necklace (it weighs about 2.5 ounces), it is secured with a lobster-claw clasp.
It is about 18 inches long.
Great with casual wear, and a great gift!
